Crimson Lotus Nixing Red Clay Teapot
 
This Crimson Lotus Yunnan Red Clay Teapot is made from 100% Nixing Red clay. Blooming Lotus is handcarved on the pot body after highfired at 1180 degree Cel. Nixing Clay Pottery is one of the Four Famous Potteries in China. Since this type of clay has very high plasticity, usually it comes with very beautiful carving.
 
Besides, it goes very well with light to medium fermented teas : aged white, black, oolongs and puerhs.
 
Teas to Match : Light / Heavy roasted Oolongs , Raw & Ripe Puerh , Aged & Fresh White & Black Teas.
 
It comes in two styles :
 
A : Lotus covering half the pot body , with Chinese Words : 寧靜致遠 meaning "Power of Silence"
 
B : Lotus covering the whole pot body
