Charcoal Snow Shiboridashi (160ml)
These Charcoal Snow Shiboridashi are fully handmade and wood fired by a small studio named "Six Clays" as they make pottery with 6 different of clays only. These gaiwans are made of high quality soft clayand created in different kiln reuslting in different glaze.
What I love this Shiboridashi are the contrast between these two glazes and the exquisite craftmanship ad attention to detail which the artist showed.
The First Snow Charcoal Snow Shiboridashi is covered in subtle crackles which resembles the elegant snow with ice. While the Burnt Charcoal Charcoal Shiboridashi is covered in refined clay and resembles the burnt charcoal which retains the roughness of the coarse clay. They are highfired and 1280 degree Celsius for 48-56 hours.
As these pieces are all handmade, each may vary slightly in terms of pattern, size and dimensions.
