Description
2015 Mandarin Gong Mei Mini Cake
This mini cake is made to made of 2015 gong mei grade leaves in Fuding & pressed with mandarin peel. Each weighs 5 g.
This cake makes brewing white tea a easy way.
It features a good harmony between fruity mandarin and the clover & brown sugar of gong mei. First with a burst of mandarin note (not overwhleming but very pleasant) then the vegetal note and clover note emerges and finish with soothing nectar sweetness. Each mini cake can last at least for 7 - 8 good steepings.
This makes a interesting horizontal comparison with our 2008 Spring Ripe Puerh Stuffed Mandarin. Personally , I prefer mandarin with white tea to puerh. As the white tea with mandarin create a gentle taste and sensation while mandarin with puerh would be a better choice for people who are into strong taste.
