Description
Spring Imperial Grade Gong Xiang Dancong Oolong (Royal Gift) - Max 50 g
Oolong Tea
"Gong" in Chinese means the offering to the Royal Family, particularly to the King. Gong Xiang is another rare and precious type of phoenix dancong oolongs. Gong Xiang is named after its high fragrance and rare beauty. "Gong" with the interpretation of the Chaozhou dialect as "high, outstanding", described its aroma is outstanding among dancongs. Its quality can be comparable to the ancient imperial family tribute! However, due to the extremely low yield of Gongxiang and difficulty in processing, it is not included in the phoenix single-cluster top ten flavor.
This Gong Xiang is light to medium roasted. It is has a mix of mineral and honey fragrance. Once sipped, a delightful mix of rich mineral and floral flavor. To our surprise, its floral note is very unique which cannot be found in any other dancongs we have tried before. On top of that, it has a very smooth texture. It can be well steeped for at least 8-9 times in Gongfu style.
