This Dragonwell is the first picking of the whole Shi Feng region. The soil is full of quartz and white sand while the water comes from natural mountain springs, yielding a flavor that simply can’t be matched outside of Shi Feng itself. This varietal was specifically bred and selected to bud even earlier than classic Dragonwell in Shi Feng and yields yellower plumper buds that make for gorgeous steeping in glassware. The first flush is the most tender bud of the spring season. The short and thick buds displaying the signature characteristics of the top quality dragon well.
We name it "Kiss of Dragon" as this extemely tender buds are very refershing and elegantly ligtt in taste. Just like the kiss of a elegant lady. The first picking of the year is full of all the nutrients and sugars stored by the plant all winter long and offers a more complex, sweet and subtle taste experience. This brings a light nutty flavor and floral aroma. It has a milder aftertaste but a more pronounced refreshing sweetness. thicker texture than later harvests.
