2021 Summer Hand Rolled Oolong Black Tea - Black Pearl
This Taiwan Oolong Black Tea is light to medium degree roasted. Its leaves are plucked in the same habit as our 2019 Autumn Premium Dong Ding Oolong - Nutty Milk. Rather being processed into the rich milky aroma oolong , it underwent the process and fermentation as black tea (80-90% fermentation).
It gives out a very well balance of the milky aroma and the caramelised nutty sweetness. The fruity plum note and the roastiness add an extra kick to enrich the flavor. Unlike other unrolled black teas, the rolled shapes give this black tea more variation among steeps. (As you can see the tea color above (1 st & 3 rd steep))
