2013 Jing Mai Wild Arbor Raw Puerh - Bitter Honey

This Jing Mai production is composed of 2013 spring pre ching ming  tea leaves harvested from wild arbor growing in the Jing Mai mountains. The reason for such early harvest is that Jing Mai puerhs are sweeter if the harvest is earlier of the season.

This raw puerh comes from 120-150 years old wild arbor growing thrived in Jing Mai Moutain tea trees. The taste is typically Jing Mai large leaf varietal.  Honey Sweet, Orchid Nectar Floral, with a mushroom earthy body. The medium - high level of bittersweet coax up at the back of throat after swallowing. The blends of flavors linger very long.  We would describe it as a Jara Honey with bittersweet. Such fragrance and flavor truely reflect the natural environment of the untouched Jing Mai Mountain where these wild arbor grow.  and a worthwhile candidate for aging.

This tea has been tested in a certified laboratory and has passed the MRL limits for pesticide residues as established by the EU Food and Safety commission.
