2011 Fuding Aged White Tea Mini Cake - Boiling Cake
This white tea cake comes from the same tea farm as our 2019 High Mountain Baimudan Mini Cake - Green Biscuit. It is more than 10 years old and this berry and tart note have transformed to more intense chinese herbal and mineral note. There chinese word printed on the mini cake is "煮" meaning boil. This cake is best at boiling the tea cakes which fully release its rich flavor and yet the high temperature does not jeopardize the texture as the cake is made up a good ratio of buds and leaves.
