Description
2009 Spring Wuyi Sparrow Bone Rougui Oolong - Phoenix Cave
Oolong Tea
Sparrow Bone Rougui (燕子窠肉桂岩茶) comes from Yanzihu Ecological Tea Garden, which is a high-quality and efficient ecological tea garden demonstration base and ecological tea garden of Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University. The biggest feature is the thick red siliceous-alumina soil layer in the production area, which is conducive to the accumulation of soluble salts, containing calcium oxide and gypsum deposition, making it rich in iron and minerals, forming a unique "rock charm".
When brewing this tea we use a Purple Clay teapot in order to really energize the aroma and bring out its full taste. With 7g of leaves and boiling water, it gives rise of its cinnamon fragrance, together with a light peach & raisin like aroma, which is unforgettable. It belongs to the low to medium roastiness.
