2006 Manzhen Village Lao Ban Zhang Ripe Puerh
10% Off for 2 Tea Cakes !!
This Ripe Puerh is made of Lao Ban Zhang tea leaves in Manzhen Village, Menghai. This village used a Lao Ban Zhang grade tea leaves around 70-100 years and produce affordable Ban Zhang teas. We are surprised to have found this ripe puerh as Ban Zhang are mostly used to make raw puerh and we would love to give it a try.
The fragance, honey sweet taste and the charming aftertaste are similar to other high quality Menghai teacakes but without any hint of those unpleasant mouldy taste. Its texture is very smooth and thick. The mellow nutty flavour is rich but not overwhelming which make it one of our most favourite ripe puerhs. We can smell the honey-like aroma from the empty cup, what a charming jem. For ripe puerh lovers, this is the cake you might not want to miss.
